Mr. Edgeman retired from Express Globe in Tunnel Hill after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Edgeman; parents, Clifford Edgeman and Pauline Davis Cummings. Harold Daniel Turner age 59 passed away, Saturday December 10, 2022 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Turner was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 21, 1963. His parents, Joseph Harold Turner and Marjorie Gentry Turner Dutton, step father Ziddie Dutton all preceded him in death. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Motorcycle Club. Survivors include, children, Desiree Turner, Ashley Przybysz, Daniel Turner; grandchildren, Nevaiah... Mrs. Carole Williams Edwards age 75of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Tuesday at her residence.
John William “Johnny” Woods, age 80, of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital. His parents, Claude Lee Woods, Sr., and Lucille Earwood Woods, and daughter, Stacey Gobel all preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Scott Woods; children, Elaine Woods, Joe Woods, Ricky Woods, Sandra Franklin, John... In 1985 she moved to the Orlando, Florida area stating she wanted her grandchildren, who lived in Americus, Georgia to have a fun place to go on vacation.
